Christ’s Faithful People

Christ’s Faithful People Website is a treasury of Catholic Teaching.

It’s content includes some of the following:

News and Blogs / Widgets and Cogs has a number of News and Blog feeds making your visit to other sites fast, easy and selective. Features include the CNA Daily News (catholic News Agency), Father Ray’s Other Corner, Father Najim and Father Sistare’s blog sites and much more.

Father Michael Najim’s Homilies is a new page featuring his homilies. You can view them by either selecting a year and date OR you can perform word SEARCH within the homilies or titles.

Deacon Fran’s Workbench is new and features a database full of his homilies. You can view them by either selecting a year and date OR you can perform word SEARCH within the homilies or titles.

Father Ray’s Corner is totally renovated and features his homilies. You can view them by either selecting a year and date OR you can perform word SEARCH within the homilies or titles.

Patristic Fathers is a new utility to view, read and search the Early Father’s of the Church writings. You can view them by either selecting a Patristic Father and one of their writings OR you can perform a word or phrase SEARCH within that particular Father’s writings.

The Catechisms is a new addition to the website. The catechisms are in a database that allows you to view, read and search all the catechisms of the Church beginning with the latest: The Universal Catechism of the Catholic Church. Included are the following: The Baltimore Catechism, The Catechism of St. Pius X, The Catechism of Trent and finally, The Catechism of St. Thomas Aquinas. You can view them all by either selecting a “Section” and then one of the “Topics”; OR you can perform a word or phrase SEARCH within the catechism and then select a topic that contains the “HITS” from the search.

The Aquinas Library is a database driven utility that allows you to view, read and search the Summa Theologica, the Summa Contra Gentiles and various other works of St. Thomas Aquinas. You can view them by either selecting a “Section” and then one of the “Topics”; OR you can perform a word or phrase SEARCH within the Summa and then select a topic that contains the “HITS” from the search.

The Aquinas Library also contains the “Catena Aurea (Golden Chain) Gospel Commentaries” and functions the same way as the other database driven utilities. You can view, read and search these Gospel Commentaries. You can view them by either selecting a “Gospel” and then one of the “Chapters”; OR you can perform a word or phrase SEARCH within the Catena Aurea and then select a Chapter that contains the “HITS” from the search. These commentaries provide excellent research material for preaching and teaching.

Many of our web pages will contain a “Bible Search” function near the bottom of the page. This “widget” is provided courtesy The American Bible Society. The following is a working example. Try it out! You can search various versions of the bible either by book/chapter/verse, or you can search by word or phrase.
